Tagging notes:
Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file.
It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac
files. If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be
stripped, however audio data will remain unaffected. If you must
transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy.
Use ffp to validate audio integrity.
Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.

You need to hear Filmore West, 1969. That's the morning dew opening heard round the world. I believe you can find a stream under 1969-02-28.

Subject: Really my first live introduction to the Grateful Dead
Through Dicks PICKS 14 which I bought in 2002 right before my first "Dead type" show ... Phil and Friends July 31 2002 Hershey.... This show produces one of my all time favorite Eyes as well as HCSunshine .... Don't sleep on this Morning Dew opener either .... So this being my first live introduction thru Dicks PICKS 14 late fall 1973 is still one of my all time favorite Eras of Dead music.... Try and beat some of these song renditions ....this matrix def does sound better than DP 14

Subject: Dew opener Yep
try the 6/10 Dew opener from 73 for one although this one's no slouch by far . this might be the best year for Dew it definately is for Here Comes Sunshine. this year is like 77 kinda hard to find an off-show 4.5 in my book here.

Did they open other shows with "Morning Dew?" Anybody know?

One of the best sounding treatments of a recording ever. Extraordinary sound. I'm familiar with this show, but DP14 (which I own) sounds nowhere near as good as this MTX. The show is incredible, with an unbelievable 2nd set jam featuring my favorite Eyes ever.

This is up there with February greatness. Doesn't really get better after Boston '73.

Subject: Definitions
Mostly when the word "matrix" is used, it is incorrect. This is a true matrix of the soundboard overlaid with the audience recording. They are together, as one. Incorrectly, it is a clean soundboard with intermittent AUD recording interruptions that often sound terrible, used to patch and splice missing sections of the SBD - not a true matrix. This is by far the best matrix I have heard so far. Nice job!
